 EZ Link EID Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter of the EZ Link EID Prize Draw is Livestock Improvement Corporation Limited (“LIC” or the “Promoter”)
2. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over only. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or its affiliates, participating outlets, companies and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. To be eligible for the prizes you must complete two herd tests using EZ Link EID Testing by 21 December 2010.
5. Only one entry permitted per person.
6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
7. There is a first prize of an overseas holiday valued at up to $5000.
8. There is a second prize of a 42 inch LCD flat screen television valued at up to $2000.
9. There is a third prize of LIC MINDA Mobile annual licence and HP iPAQ 112.
10. The first and second prizes can be exchanged for a $5000 and $2000 credit, respectively, to the prizewinners nominated customer account with LIC. The third prize is not exchangeable.
11. The prizes and the credits are not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless otherwise specified. No interest is payable.
12. The promotion commences on 18 February 2010. Entries close on 31 August 2010. The draw will take place at LIC corner Ruakura and Morrinsville Road’s, Hamilton within 7 days of 10 January 2011.
13. The first 3 valid entries drawn will win the first, second and third prizes respectively. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. The Promoter will publish the winners names on the LIC website and the winners will be notified by mail or phone by 31 January 2011.
16. If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made by the Promoter to contact the winner, then the Promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winner for having done so. A period of one month will be allowed after notification to the supplied contact details for the winner to claim the prize.
17. Airfares and accommodation must be purchased through LIC’s travel agent. All travel must be booked by 31 December 2011.
18. The winner of the first prize will be required to pay any additional costs for the holiday in excess of the $5000 prize. The Promoter highly recommends that the winner of the first prize obtains travel insurance, however, this is not a condition of accepting the prize.
19. The prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
20. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees and agents shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses (whether direct, indirect or consequential) suffered, sustained or incurred as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or its prizes.
21. The prizewinners’ names, details and photos may be used by LIC for promotional purposes.
